POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of warehousing duties, which requires an understanding of the Company's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials against receiving and shipping documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages;routing material to prescribed storage locations by proper methods to protect material and employee safety;rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials;examine stored materials and reporting deterioration and damages;removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. May operate various equipment to stage, locate or process material for shipment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Accurately locate and identify stock for storage and retrieval using scanner when appropriate. *Safely operate related machinery and equipment. *Properly identify, scan and process paperwork necessary for material handling. *Correctly load and unload trucks and verify load with delivery tickets and scanner. *Properly tag, band, and package material for shipment. *Maintain a clean and safe work area. *Always be helpful and courteous to all customers and employees. *Perform other duties as related or assigned for the benefit of the Company. *Good attendance is an essential function of this job. ***Previous Warehouse Crane operator experience and a resume is required.*** If you are dependable, and serious about what you do, this is a great temporary-to-hire opportunity.
