A busy warehouse and distribution facility in the San Jose metro area is seeking a reliable Warehouse Forklift Associate to support daily logistics operations. This position is ideal for individuals with forklift experience who are committed to safety, accuracy, and teamwork. The role involves material handling, inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Duties
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
Perform pre-shift and post-shift forklift inspections and follow all safety procedures.
Load and unload delivery trucks while preventing product damage.
Process warehouse transactions and update records using basic computer systems.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Follow established operating procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals.
Requirements
Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills, including data entry and reporting.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
