About the Role
Be the face of the company. The Customer Service Representative is the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to firearm parts, repairs, services, and aftermarket products including apparel, gifts, and accessories. This role handles all order inquiries written and verbal and is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience from first contact to resolution.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to detailed telephone and written customer inquiries
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor throughout all customer interactions; listen attentively to customer needs
- Maintain customer confidentiality at all times
- Identify firearms that should be returned to the factory for service and guide customers through the process
- Apply technical product knowledge to provide accurate guidance to customers over the phone
- Process payments for service and parts orders
- Generate shipping labels and manage email correspondence
- Know and follow all applicable state laws and federal ATF regulations
- Provide support for quarterly parts inventories
- Strive to resolve customer issues on the first contact; serve as a true advocate for the customer
- Participate in OSHA-mandated training as required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 3 years of customer service and data entry experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Experience with computer software; QuickBooks experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret the English language
- Comfortable working with the public and managing multiple priorities under pressure
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, policies, and procedures
- Willingness to develop solid product knowledge of the Tisas Arms line
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, flexible team environment
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and work at a computer for long stretches; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs
- Criminal background check and drug screening required; no felony or misdemeanor domestic violence convictions
- Must be able to legally possess and handle firearms under Georgia state and U.S. federal law
