Warehouse & Customer Support Associate

Position OverviewA growing organization is seeking a dependable, versatile, and customer-focused Warehouse & Customer Support Associate to join its Bronx, NY team. This hands-on role combines warehouse responsibilities with customer interaction and sales support

The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, experience operating a propane forklift, and some sales or customer service experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants variety, is willing to learn, and is interested in growing with the company

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming merchandise and materials
• Pick, prepare, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Safely operate a propane-powered forklift to move, load, unload, and organize merchandise
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Stock and replenish inventory and assist with inventory counts
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Load and unload trucks and prepare merchandise for customer pickup or delivery
• Assist customers in a friendly, professional, and service-oriented manner
• Help customers locate products and answer basic product and order-related questions
• Provide sales support by identifying customer needs and assisting with appropriate products or solutions
• Work with sales, warehouse, and management teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
• Support additional warehouse, customer service, and operational responsibilities as needed
• Follow company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or similar hands-on experience required
• Experience operating a propane forklift required
• Previous sales, counter sales, retail, or customer service experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable interacting directly with customers in a professional and helpful manner
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, bending, moving materials, and lifting throughout the workday
• Willingness to learn new responsibilities and assist in different areas of the operation
• Motivated to grow professionally and take on additional responsibilities over time
