Scope of Position

We are looking for a Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team at AF Distributors. We are looking for a responsible and hardworking individual who will deliver products safely and efficiently to our local customers. This person will transport products between warehouses, to customers and other partner retailers. This person will be required to load and unload vehicles, operate equipment like forklifts, maintain accurate records, and may also assist with general warehouse tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately loading and unloading goods and materials from vehicles, using equipment like forklifts or hand trucks.
• Operating company vehicles to transport goods, following traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Making timely deliveries to designated locations and picking up goods as required.
• Following designated routes and using navigational technology to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Assisting with inventory management, ensuring proper organization and storage of goods.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any related documentation.
• May be required to assist with other warehouse duties, such as packing, unpacking, or organizing goods.
• Ensuring a safe work environment, inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, and reporting any problems.
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries, answering questions, and assisting customers as needed.
• Pack and store items securely and effectively to minimize breakage
• Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality, and national standards of shipping and receiving best-practices

Required Education and Experience

• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience driving a variety of vehicles, including box trucks and flat beds
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse experience
