Warehouse Delivery Driver

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Non-CDL Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our White Plains branch. This position is responsible for safely delivering HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to customers throughout the Westchester County, New York City, and surrounding Tri-State area while supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent customer service skills, and is willing to assist with warehouse responsibilities when deliveries are complete. This role typically operates a company cargo van or box truck that does not require a CDL.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company non-CDL delivery truck or cargo van while following all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Deliver HVAC equipment, parts, tools, and supplies to contractor job sites and customer locations.
• Load and unload deliveries using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and proper lifting techniques.
• Verify orders before departure and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
• Inspect vehicles daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with receiving inbound shipments and verifying product accuracy.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Organize warehouse inventory and replenish stock locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training/certification provided if needed).
• Work closely with warehouse, counter sales, and branch personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during every delivery.
• Perform other warehouse and branch duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience operating box trucks, cargo vans, or similar delivery vehicles preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC products is helpful but not required.
• Ability to use handheld scanners or mobile delivery applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
• Frequent bending, reaching, walking, standing, and climbing in and out of delivery vehicles.
• Ability to work in warehouse and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable loading and unloading heavy HVAC equipment and materials throughout the workday.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday - 7AM-4:30PM
• Day Shift
• Occasional overtime during busy seasons
