Warehouse Delivery Driver

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our White Plains branch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road while also contributing to warehouse operations. The successful candidate will safely operate 24-26 foot box trucks to deliver HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies to customer locations throughout the New York metropolitan area and surrounding regions while providing outstanding customer service.

When not making deliveries, the driver will assist with warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, order picking, loading, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. Similar branch roles combine delivery responsibilities with warehouse support and emphasize safe handling of HVAC products and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-owned 24-26 foot box trucks to deliver HVAC equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment.
• Verify delivery orders for accuracy before departure and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
• Plan and complete daily delivery routes efficiently while maintaining on-time service.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and required company documentation.
• Keep warehouse aisles, inventory, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Work closely with warehouse and sales teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service during all deliveries.
• Follow all DOT, company safety, and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating 24-26 foot box trucks.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Basic computer and handheld scanner experience preferred.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one is preferred.
• Knowledge of the New York metropolitan area is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Stand, bend, walk, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Safely enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times throughout the day.
