SCHEDULE: Part-Time - Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 9am - 5:30pm, Thursday 8am - Noon

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for processing the receipt of all incoming and outgoing boxes of inactive patient records or ancillary department records. This requires filing/records and responsible for processing, retrieving, and securing patient information in bags, bins and boxes for shipping to customer locations. 

In this role you will: 

  • Receive and check-in all incoming boxes, X-ray film or any inactive documents based on pick-up request/order  
  • Process out-bounds, delivery requests for pertinent patient records, bins, bags, and/or boxes  
  • Document all incoming and outgoing boxes via computer system through Versatile software.  
  • Verify input data received from Hospitals that it is correct according to Record Retention Schedules created by Nashville Record Management Department. 
  • Keep warehouse, shelves and aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards and obstruction.  
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers and other team members. 
  • Maintain material handling equipment and report any potential problems.  
  • Assist management in the direct workflow in the receiving area, setting priorities and meeting deadlines for receiving material 
  • Bay shifting may be required to allocate or condense space due to additional incoming material and/or purged material  

What you will need: 

  • High School Diploma or GED Required  
  • One year previous clerk experience Required  
  • Prior computer experience
