Our industry expertise, focus on safety, quality work, quick response time and minimum downtime for our customers, make us the ideal choice for your next place to work.Position Summary The individual will be responsible for processing a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing of parts to jobs, physically moving parts and assisting in counting inventory for the North Texas area in a fast-paced environment. The individual will be part of a small team of assigned warehouse personnel related to daily operations of parts/materials department and related inventory management.Responsibilities: Make deliveries and pick up parts and suppliesShip and receive parts orders utilizing various forms of technology – computer, barcode scannerProcess order requests from Parts Coordinators in a timely and efficient manner to meet time sensitive deadlinesUnload trucks, inspect materials for damage or defects, and assemble as needed for placement into warehouseClear and timely communication with cross-functional personnel (Operations, AMS, Shops, Management, Accounting)Participate in cycle counting and physical inventory countsComply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and proceduresMaintain good housekeeping in assigned area(s)Handle special projects, as assignedRequirements: 1 year Parts department experience in the compression industry or mechanical serviceMust be available for on-call parts/materials requests 24/7Ability to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to prioritize and work under pressureForklift operator certification a plusBasic computer skillsPossess valid driver's license and clean driving recordHigh school degree or equivalentExperience: Warehouse: 3 years (Required)License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)Physical Demands: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionallyOperate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle and parts trailerFrequent standing, bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heightsWill be required to pick up, deliver item to facilities and jobsites.
