SHOP WORKER
Air Compressor & Industrial Equipment Shop — Maywood, Illinois
Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Shop Worker to join our team in Maywood, Illinois. This is a hands-on position working with air compressors, industrial equipment, parts, and general shop duties.
Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics with servicing and repairing air compressors and related equipment
• Clean, organize, and prepare equipment and parts
• Load and unload equipment and parts
• Assist with compressor tear-downs and rebuilds
• Perform basic maintenance and shop work
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Help receive, identify, and organize incoming parts
• Follow instructions from shop mechanics and management
• Perform other general shop duties as needed

Qualifications

• Mechanical or shop experience preferred but not required
• Must be dependable and have a good work ethic
• Must be comfortable working with your hands
• Ability to lift and move equipment and parts
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work safely and follow directions
