Penmac Staffing is seeking a Warehouse/Finish Worker for a local manufacturing facility in the Springfield, MO area. This temp-to-hire position offers a variety of duties in both the warehouse and finishing departments, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work and learning new skills.Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 55 pounds
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
- Forklift experience is not required, but candidates must be willing to learn
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- GED preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
ResponsibilitiesAs a Warehouse & Finish Worker, you will support both warehouse operations and finishing processes.
Duties may include:
- Receiving incoming shipments and verifying contents against packing slips and invoices
- Unloading trucks and moving materials to designated storage areas
- Using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment to transport materials
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing shipping labels and documentation for outbound shipments
- Assisting in the finish department with finish sanding, primer application, and related production tasks
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Following all safety procedures and quality standards
