Key Responsibilities


   Oversee and coordinate all day-to-day shop operations, ensuring the shop is clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
·       Manage the Shop Tech and provide day-to-day job duties and guidance
·       Making sure that the Shop is locked at the end of each workday.
·       Manage materials inventory, including ordering, stocking, tracking, and restocking as needed.
·       Process all material returns on a weekly basis.
·       Tag and organize materials that are being held for upcoming jobs.
·       Receive deliveries and notify the appropriate Project Manager when materials have arrived.
·       Verify all incoming deliveries to ensure correct items and quantities were received.
·       Order and cost BIN materials accurately and in a timely manner.
·       Emailing any material that we can not return to all PMs, so they know what is available in the shop.
·       Monitor and maintain an inventory of the company-issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to hard hats, safety vests, and eye protection.
·       Works closely with the HR Team to ensure that all field technicians have the required PPE.
·       Creating Purchase Orders for any Shop orders.
·       Making deliveries to technicians on-site as necessary.
·       Making sure there is a clear path from the office door to the back door.
·       Making sure the back parking lot is clear of any debris and trash.
·       Ensure all technicians have assigned, fully equipped vehicles, and track vehicle usage in the appropriate system.
·       Inspect all company vehicles weekly to ensure they are clean, in good working condition, and free of damage.
·       Ensure the return of company vehicles and any assigned company equipment from departing employees.
·       Coordinate and monitor maintenance for all company-owned vehicles.
·       Maintain accurate vehicle logs, including inspection and damage reports.
·       Transport company vehicles to and from the shop as needed.
·       Coordinate outfitting and vehicle lettering for all new company vehicles.
·       Ensure all vehicle registration tags and inspection stickers are current.
·       Manage the uniforms for each technician, including the incoming and outgoing uniforms.
·       Order uniforms for newly hired technicians.
·       Managing tools, making sure they are properly signed out and returned.
·       Follow up with technicians to return tools as necessary
·       Scribing and marking tools
·       Inventorying all tools on a weekly basis.
·       Making sure that the Tool Cage is locked at the end of each work day.
·       Maintaining an inventory of all ladders.
·       Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


o  High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalency.
o  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, shop, and/or equipment management, ideally in the electrical or construction industry.
o  Experience with inventory management.
o  Well organized and detail-oriented.
o  Proven leadership and communication skills.
o  Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and industry-related software.
o  Management experience is preferred.
