Warehouse & Fleet Supervisor

Overview:

At Zimmer Heating & Cooling, we believe great operations start behind the scenes. We're seeking a motivated, solution-oriented Warehouse & Fleet Supervisor who brings positive energy, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

 

You'll lead daily warehouse operations while ensuring our field teams have the tools, equipment, and support necessary to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure an efficient, safe, and organized work environment.
• Supervise, coach, and support warehouse personnel while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Manage the receiving, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and inventory control procedures.
• Coordinate material staging and logistics to support service and installation teams.
• Monitor inventory usage and communicate replenishment needs to ensure product availability.
• Oversee company vehicle fleet administration, including maintenance scheduling, registrations, vehicle assignments, and recordkeeping.
• Ensure warehouse equipment, tools, and assets are properly maintained, tracked, and accounted for.
• Support paperless warehouse processes through inventory management and operational software systems.
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies and warehouse best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, inventory accuracy, and overall workflow.
• Assist with loading, unloading, forklift operation, and other warehouse functions as needed.
• Partner with operations leadership to support company goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

 

Required

• 1+ year of warehouse, logistics, operations, military supply, or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing inventory and maintaining organized operational processes.
• Experience working within inventory management, ERP, or other digital operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred

• Forklift experience and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Experience managing vehicle fleets, transportation assets, or logistics operations.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.
• Background in distribution, manufacturing, construction, home services, or related industries.
• Military logistics, supply chain, maintenance, or operations experience.
