Description for Warehouse/Forklift:
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead rigging cranes to move heavy materials throughout the facility.
- Utilize order management software and inventory systems as needed to track and locate products.
- Safely operate machine production lines to convert raw metal materials into high-quality finished goods.
- Perform quality assurance checks on finished inventory, including packaging, tags, and labels.
- Measure materials using precision tape measures, micrometers, and calipers down to strict tolerances.
- Maintain a highly organized work area, remove material scrap, and follow core plant safety guidelines.
Details for Warehouse/Forklift:
- Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour starting (10-hour shifts with great overtime pay).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift (5:00am - 3:00pm) OR Swing Shift (3:00pm - 1:00am).
- Location: Cowlitz County layout.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Warehouse/Forklift:
- Minimum of 1+ years of verifiable experience safely operating forklifts within an active industrial setting.
- Prior background working in an industrial shop, metal distribution center, or heavy warehouse preferred.
- Proven ability to accurately read and apply measurements using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
- Excellent safety mindset, strong communication skills, and comfort utilizing basic computer systems.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen; some background restrictions apply.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation.
