Warehouse – Forklift Operator (Manufacturing Environment)

Location: Manufacturing Facility
Schedule: Full-Time | Production Support

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Forklift Operator to support manufacturing operations by moving raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role plays a critical part in keeping production lines supplied, shipments on schedule, and inventory accurate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pull and stage materials for production and outbound shipments

  • Move raw materials and finished goods between production and warehouse locations

  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift

  • Receive inbound materials and ensure accurate put-away

  • Use handheld scanners and inventory systems to track material movement

  • Identify and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and staging areas

  • Support production and warehouse teams during downtime as needed


Required Qualifications

  • Forklift experience required (manufacturing or industrial setting preferred)

  • 1+ year of warehouse or material handling experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience working with inventory control systems

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to stand and work on a concrete floor for extended periods


Manufacturing Environment & Safety

  • Fast-paced production and warehouse setting

  • PPE required at all times: steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other site-specific PPE

  • Regular interaction with production equipment and moving machinery
