Warehouse Forklift Operator - Inbound

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our Inbound Department. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both reach trucks and sit-down forklifts to unload, move, and stage inbound freight efficiently and accurately. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting warehouse flow.

As a Reach Truck Operator, you will:

• Operate reach trucks and sit-down forklifts to unload inbound shipments from trailers and containers.
• Safely transport pallets and materials to designated staging or storage areas.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy of inbound stock.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, quantity, and accuracy against purchase orders.
• Scan and label inbound inventory using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and operational standards.
• Communicate with receiving and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines while operating equipment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including pallet wrapping, staging, and documentation.

This is a full-time temp to possible temp to hire position.

Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Possible OT – before shift) Possible Saturday’s. currently working 4:00AM - 5:35PM for the next 6-8 weeks

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years of relevant experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must have 1+ years of relevant experience operating Reach Truck and Sit down
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay Rate:  $21.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
