Penmac Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator for a local distribution warehouse. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a client seeking a dependable, full-time employee. Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift
- Monday through Friday
- 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Additional hours may be required based on workload
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with warehouse inventory systems
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Accurately build and pull customer shipment orders
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain accurate inventory records
- Load, unload, move, and organize products throughout the warehouse
- Verify order accuracy before shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting as needed
- Support daily warehouse operations to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned
