Great Lakes Warehouse is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Freight Handler to join our growing team. What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll help ensure orders are processed quickly, accurately, and safely. Your day-to-day may include:
- Picking customer orders using RF scanners, pick lists, or warehouse systems
- Carefully packing items of all sizes to prevent damage during shipping
- Verifying part numbers, quantities, and product quality
- Labeling, staging, and preparing orders for delivery
- Assisting with receiving and organizing new inventory
- Safely moving materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified)
- Performing inventory counts and reporting discrepancies
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Collaborating with teammates to meet daily production and shipping
What You Bring
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting and moving warehouse materials safely
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift and move packages throughout the shift
- Safe operation of warehouse equipment
Pay & Schedule
- $17–$19 per hour (based on experience)
- Overtime opportunities available
- Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Full-time position
