The Warehouse General Laborer plays a crucial role in the distribution center by efficiently sorting, loading, and moving materials such as pallets, boxes, and plastic bins. This position requires meeting production targets while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The role demands physical stamina, attention to quality standards, and adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:30PM
Responsibilities
Hand stack materials following instructions and company guidelines
Load and unload materials manually
Move pallets and crates throughout the storage facility
Verify that loads are secure before transport
Examine products to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Wear required personal protective equipment such as eye and ear protection and safety shoes
Adapt to extreme work conditions including heat, cold, and airborne particulates
Lifting and carrying weights of up to 50-75 pounds with proper body mechanics
Work overtime and flexible shifts as needed
