The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading logistics and warehousing organization to hire a Warehouse Handler in a Climate controlled warehouse Los Angeles, CA. You’ll play a key role in ensuring inventory is received, stored, and shipped accurately—helping keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Organize and store inventory to maximize space and accessibility
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs safely
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices
Preferred:
- Forklift certification
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Familiarity with inventory systems or barcode scanners
- Basic computer skills for data entry and tracking
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
