Warehouse Handler

The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed warehouse and logistics organization, and we are seeking a skilled & experienced Warehouse Handler at their Vernon, CA location.

As a Warehouse Handler, you will play a vital role in the efficient flow of warehouse operations within, climate-controlled environment. You’ll be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping goods accurately while helping maintain inventory integrity and supporting supply chain operations.

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documentation
  
• Safely load, unload, transport, and store materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  
• Organize inventory in designated warehouse locations to maximize efficiency, accessibility, and space utilization
  
• Pick, prepare, package, and stage customer orders for shipment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following established housekeeping and safety standards
  
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with inventory audits, reporting any discrepancies promptly
  
• Partner with team members and supervisors to support daily operations, solve challenges, and meet productivity goals 
  

What We Are Looking For:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
  
• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred but not required).
  
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift operator certification.
  
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment.
  
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and barcode scanning technology.
  
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
