SIMOS is hiring full-time, long-term Quality Inspector / Baler Warehouse Associates for a warehouse and distribution facility. This is a hands-on position working with large, bulky furniture in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: This position requires continuous lifting, handling, and moving of large, bulky furniture weighing up to 70 lbs. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, as quality inspections are performed throughout the shift to ensure products meet customer and company standards. Must have up to 6 months of Quality Inspector or Baling experience to be considered for the position.
- Pay: $17.50/hour
- Shift: Day Shift- Monday-Friday, 7 AM until work is complete (flexibility required) -Weekends as needed

- Unpacking while Quality Inspecting large, heavy, bulky furniture consecutively throughout the shift

- Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic.
- Top Quality Safety Culture, Safety actually comes first.
- Lift product, shrink wrap, and palletize pallets in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, handle, and carry boxes up to 75 pounds or more of heavy, bulky furniture
- Ability to carry, stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, push, and pull
- Stand on your feet for at least 10-12 hours; reach overhead, twist, turn, and squat throughout the shift
.
Position Requirements: - Responsible for staging orders, sorting pallets, and loading furniture to be delivered out of the warehouse.
- The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated & reliable individual who is able to work at a steady pace to meet the production schedule.
- Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions.
- Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic.
