 Warehouse & Inventory Associate Pay is weekly, starting at $20.00 per hour HOURS: Mon. - Fri. 12:00pm to 8:30pm Mandatory overtime and occasional Saturday work are required as the schedule demands. Position OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Associate to join our team in our refrigerated warehouse in Cohoes, NY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the accuracy of our inventory and ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility. Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, label, and organize materials and stock. Conduct regular and full-cycle physical counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Shipping & Receiving: Safely unload incoming shipments and load outgoing shipments. Verify all shipments against corresponding paperwork (e.g., sales orders, purchase orders) to guarantee accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Stage and palletize customer orders and raw materials daily.
- Record Keeping: Maintain highly accurate shipping and receiving logs in a neat, organized manner.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless flow of orders and materials throughout the plant.
Qualifications & Requirements- Equipment Operation: Proven ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to consistently lift and move an average of 25 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated environment.
- Work Environment: Ability to thrive and work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with employees, management, and external vendors.
