Title: Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk
Location: 905 S. 34th Street, Richmond, CA 94804 (Richmond Bread)
Duration: 6+ months with possible extensions, subject to budget & management/performance

Pay Rate: $25.00 Per hour.

1st Shift: Monday through Friday 7am - 3:30/4pm.

After training manager is flexible to work schedule. Candidate must be open to occasional weekend work

Job Summary:
Role Responsibilities.

  • Cycle Count Inventory Conduct ongoing cycle counts throughout the 6 month assignment to verify quantities and correct discrepancies.
  • Update Inventory System Enter missing parts, update descriptions, correct quantities, and ensure all part data is complete and accurate.
  • Parts Room Organization Reorganize shelves, label parts, and maintain a clean, efficient storage layout.
  • Process Excess Parts Identify excess or misplaced parts located outside the parts room and determine what should be returned to inventory.
  • Shelving & Stocking Place excess or newly identified parts onto the correct shelves following company standards.
  • Documentation Cleanup Over the 6 month period ensure all part descriptions, categories, and locations are fully updated and standardized.
  • Support Inventory Audit Assist with mid assignment and end of assignment inventory checks to confirm improvements.
  • Assist Staff Help technicians and team members locate parts and answer questions about availability.

Month 1:
  • Initial cycle counts
  • Identify missing descriptions and incorrect quantities
  • Begin organizing shelves and labeling

Months 2 3:
  • Full system cleanup
  • Add/update all part descriptions
  • Process excess parts and return them to inventory

Months 4 5:
  • Deep cycle counts and corrections
  • Finalize organization of all shelves and storage areas

Month 6:
  • Final audit preparation
  • Confirm accuracy of all inventory records
  • Document completed improvements for handoff

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar type of role.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PC programs. Experience with CMMS nice to have.
  • Experience with mechanical and consumable parts inventory procedures.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 - 60 lbs.
  • *Standing pallet jack experience
  • *Forklift certification nice to have.
