    Description

    Summary

    • ​1st Shift: Monday through Friday 7am - 3:30/4pm. After training manager is flexible to work schedule.

      Candidate must be open to occasional weekend work as well as overtime.
      ​Role is 6 month assignment.

    Responsibilities

    • Cycle Count Inventory — Conduct ongoing cycle counts throughout the 6‑month assignment to verify quantities and correct discrepancies.

      Update Inventory System — Enter missing parts, update descriptions, correct quantities, and ensure all part data is complete and accurate.

      Parts Room Organization — Reorganize shelves, label parts, and maintain a clean, efficient storage layout.

      Process Excess Parts — Identify excess or misplaced parts located outside the parts room and determine what should be returned to inventory.

      Shelving & Stocking — Place excess or newly identified parts onto the correct shelves following company standards.

      Documentation Cleanup — Over the 6‑month period ensure all part descriptions, categories, and locations are fully updated and standardized.

      Support Inventory Audit — Assist with mid‑assignment and end‑of‑assignment inventory checks to confirm improvements.

      Assist Staff — Help technicians and team members locate parts and answer questions about availability

      Month 1:
      Initial cycle counts
      Identify missing descriptions and incorrect quantities
      Begin organizing shelves and labeling
      Months 2–3:
      Full system cleanup
      Add/update all part descriptions
      Process excess parts and return them to inventory
      Months 4–5:
      Deep cycle counts and corrections
      Finalize organization of all shelves and storage areas
      Month 6:
      Final audit preparation
      Confirm accuracy of all inventory records
      Document completed improvements for handoff

      Requirements

      • 1-4 years of experience in a similar type of role.

        Ability to work with limited supervision.

        Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

        Proficiency with Microsoft basic PC programs. Experience with CMMS nice to have.

        Experience with mechanical and consumable parts inventory procedures.

        Be able to lift up to 50 - 60 lbs.

        Standing pallet jack experience

        Forklift certification nice to have.
