    Description

    Warehouse Inventory Governance Specialist

Our goal is simple: system-to-physical alignment with near-zero variance. As the Warehouse Inventory Governance Specialist, you’ll design, execute, and continuously refine the controls that keep our inventory accurate across warehouse and production. You’ll blend meticulous on-the-floor verification with sharp ERP/WMS analysis, protect high-value materials, and drive durable corrective actions in partnership with operations.

    What you’ll lead

    • Daily and targeted counting programs—cycle counts, spot checks, and full physical inventories.
    • Flawless recording and validation of receipts, transfers, and adjustments within ERP/WMS.
    • Inbound verification: receive, inspect, and confirm materials and documentation.
    • Production reconciliation: validate reported output against actual receipts and resolve any gaps.
    • Structured discrepancy management: root-cause analysis and preventative/corrective actions.
    • Bin/location governance: ensure placement accuracy, eliminate empty system locations, and capture unrecorded stock.
    • Protection of high-value and sensitive inventory through focused monitoring and audits.
    • Transparency: prepare and circulate accuracy metrics and discrepancy reports.
    • Cross-functional problem solving with warehouse, production, and operations teams.
    • Continuous improvement efforts that keep storage areas organized, clean, and compliant.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications to succeed

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
    • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
    • Demonstrated expertise in cycle counting and reconciliation practices.
    • Working proficiency with ERP/WMS platforms for transaction management.
    • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
    • Analytical problem-solver with basic root-cause investigation skills.
    • Knowledge of inventory best practices: transaction auditing and bin/location management.
    • Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
    • Excellent organization and communication in a fast-paced setting.
    • Dependable follow-through and accountability for closing issues.
    • Continuous improvement orientation; able to identify and close process gaps.
    • Completion of required training and adherence to standard work.

    Physical environment

    • Work in warehouse/production spaces with extended standing and walking.
    • Perform lifting, bending, stretching, pulling, and climbing.
    • Operate in cold and wet conditions from 32°F to sub-zero temperatures.
    • Navigate uneven flooring and inclines.
    • Operate a forklift (high-low); certification required or willingness to obtain.
    • Perform basic computer tasks and occasional office work with periods of sitting.
    • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
