The Company
With more than 40 locations along the eastern seaboard in the United States, Meherrin Agricultural and Chemical Company is a leading provider of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers to farmers.
This position will report to the Location Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Blend fertilizer • Load and unload trucks • Help maintain all grounds around the warehouses • Keep both warehouses clean and organized • Unload chemicals from Ag carriers • Occasional delivery of chemicals • Maintain and perform periodic maintenance on all equipment • Forklift and skid steer loader operation • Conduct processing invoices and transfer tickets
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent 1+ years of warehouse experience Good verbal and written communication skills Work well individually and among others Team Player
Physical Demand
Lift 60 pounds on a regular basis Work out in both hot and cold conditions Workplace Environment
Fast-paced environment which may include exposure to dust and temperature fluctuations throughout the year.
