Job Description
Needs strong Warehouse knowledge on the design of the Warehouse and being able to understand all departments etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and planning the inner layout of the warehouse
- Ensuring optimized functioning of the warehouse and achieving maximum efficiency & space utilization
- Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems
- Adopts lean concepts to streamline processes to achieve process flow efficiency
- Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to SPS principle
- Measures and analyzes warehousing performance (cost and service) and implement corrective actions
- Manages projects to design and optimize warehousing processes
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's Degree required
- At least 2 years of warehouse design/optimization experience
- Proficient in computer aided design and drafting software
- Proficient Microsoft Skills and SAP
- Knowledge of Database systems (SQL, Tableau etc.) a plus
