JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting daily operations within the picking department, ensuring that all item tickets are accurately printed, returned, and properly loaded. This role acts as a key point of coordination between team members and management to maintain workflow efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency.
Pay rate: $21.50-$22.50 per hour.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:30-10:30pm (Saturday may be required if the need of the business)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and support 2nd shift picking operations to ensure daily production goals are met
Ensure all item tickets are printed correctly, distributed, returned, and accounted for
Verify that picked items are properly loaded according to work instructions and schedules
Monitor workflow and address issues proactively to prevent delays or errors
Provide guidance and direction to team members on shiftAssist in training new employees on picking processes and procedures
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to tickets and shipments
Communicate effectively with supervisors, other shifts, and departments
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations
Perform basic troubleshooting related to system or process issues
Demonstrates and leads in other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or picking operations required
Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
Basic computer skills (data entry, tracking systems, printing tickets, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and problem-solving skills
