Job Description:

As a Warehouse Lead at our Brownsburg location, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role requires a highly organized and motivated individual with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Compensation Range: $22-28/Hour + Benefits
(Compensation varies based on experience and education)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Assist with unloading trucks using forklift or by hand and checking in merchandise.
    • Efficiently and accurately assemble customer orders.
    • Prepare orders for shipment (palletizing, boxing, labeling).
    • Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping instructions.
    • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Properly mark materials with identifying information.
    • Regularly weigh and count items to ensure accurate inventory.
    • Organize the warehouse and maintain orderliness.
  • Customer Service:
    • Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure a safe and accessible warehouse environment.
    • Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
    • Prepare and verify shipping and receiving documents.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.  
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Preferred experience includes basic knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS) software and working proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for communication and task coordination.
