Warehouse Lead

We here at Tampa Bay bottling are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our bustling distribution center. In this energetic role, you will lead a team of warehouse associates ( no more than 15ppl), ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate shipping and receiving, and seamless warehouse distribution processes. Your expertise will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and maintain optimal warehouse management system (WMS) operations. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment
• Manage inventory control through regular audits, cycle counts, and updates within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and AS400 platforms
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and accuracy across warehouse operations
• Oversee the operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment to facilitate heavy lifting and materials handling safely
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members
• Collaborate with logistics partners and 3PL providers to optimize warehouse distribution strategies
• Train and manage warehouse staff on best practices in warehouse management, safety protocols, and equipment operation

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor with strong leadership capabilities
• Extensive knowledge of inventory management, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling techniques
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts and mechanical lifting equipment; forklift certification preferred
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), AS400 systems, and logistics software such as OSHAs standards for safety compliance
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for process improvement in fast-paced environments such as e-commerce or 3PL warehouses
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment
• Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks as needed

Salary:55,000-65,00

Schedule : Days /50hrs a week//Saturdays a month when required
