Description
North Richland Hills, Tx. Warehouse Lead (Evening Shift)
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Lead to assist our evening operations at our North Richland Hills facility. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of our Outbound and Inventory departments. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who excels in high-volume environments and maintains a strong focus on inventory accuracy and team performance.
Shift and Compensation:
Location: North Richland Hills, Tx.
$21.50 / hour (90 day probationary period)
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 4:00 pm- 12:00 am
Training Period: First 30-45 days will be conducted during day-shift operational hours (8:00am- 4:00pm) for comprehensive onboarding/training.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Assistance: Assist evening Inventory and Outbound operations, ensuring all Inventory and Outbound teams meet daily objectives.
Processes Management: Apply expert knowledge of packing and shipping processes to streamline workflow
Performance Tracking: Maintain KPI reporting and uphold performance metrics.
Communication: Serve as the liaison between Supervisor and team members to ensure clear and effective information flow as needed.
Documentation: Maintain and update SOP's
Personnel Development: Lead the training and integration of new hires.
Clearing RDOCK: Insuring Receiving Dock and Transit bins are cleared nightly
Team Delegation: Clear delegation of workload for Outbound/Inventory and knowing what each team member is working on
Skills and Abilities:
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
Problem Solving: Critical thinker with the ability to resolve operational issues in real-time
Organization: Excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Professionalism: A self-starter who is dependable and consistently reliable.
Minimum Experience and Requirements:
Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Full proficiency in reading and writing English
Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
