Warehouse Lead

This Warehouse Lead is a frontline supervisor who coordinates daily operations like shipping, receiving, and inventory, bridging the gap between management and staff. They train staff, ensure safety compliance, and handle hands-on tasks such as operating forklifts and processing orders to meet productivity goals.

• Monday - Friday
• 7am to 330pm
• Temp-to-hire!
• $18/hr

Lead Requirements:

· 2–5 years of warehouse experience
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience
· Experience with shipping, receiving, picking, put-away, and loading
· Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
· Experience with inventory systems
· Ability to assist with inventory counts and reconciliation
· Strong communication skills
· Strong organizational and delegation skills
· Ability to train employees and direct daily workflow
· Safety-minded and able to maintain a clean, organized warehouse

Lead Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting roll call at the start of each shift
• Serving as the primary contact for call-outs
• Communicating time adjustments to our team
• Helping ensure team members remain on task and productive
• Assist in the setup and preparation of picking isles and packing and processing stations. This may involve the assembly and stocking of shipping supplies and ensuring all areas involved are prepared for daily shipping processes.
• Pick products/quantities/lot numbers accurately and efficiently from bin locations according to assigned pick jobs for customer orders.
• Package outbound shipments according to established procedures to ensure the accuracy of the shipment and that it arrives damage-free.
• Other duties as needed.
