Warehouse Lead

Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for one of our clients in a fast-paced Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse processes, driving operational improvements, supporting team development, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising warehouse operations, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor department KPIs and operational metrics and take corrective action as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
• Support employee training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures.
• Support Quality Management Systems and ISO compliance requirements.
• Assist with resource planning to meet production and operational goals.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Provide daily guidance and support to Material Handlers and warehouse staff.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and perform data entry as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience in an EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) environment.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Previous forklift experience preferred, specifically Stand-Up Reach Forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of import/export compliance requirements and warehouse best practices.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
• Understanding of EMS industry operations and NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.

Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
