Position Summary  

The Warehouse Lead ensures operations begin and end at the scheduled times and jobs are completed safely within the allocated time frame for a designated work. This position will immediately escalate any employee issues including, but not limited to Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Productivity.  

 Position Responsibilities 

  • Ensure and verify equipment is ready for production before the start of every shift. 
  • Monitor line for staffing, equipment function, and safe work environment. 
  • Assigns tasks to designated team members  
  • Verify that the team members are following standard processes & meeting expected rates of production. 
  • Identify issues, problems and solutions in areas of safety, quality and production. Make recommendations to resolve issue 
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by leading by example and assisting supervisor in monitoring established standards, critical control points, equipment, and resources.  
  • Adheres to, trains and helps enforce a zero-harm culture, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Environmental, Quality and Health practices. 
  • Fill in a when team members must perform other duties  
  • Work with team members to ensure production information is accurate and consistent with procedures and policies before entry into production tracking systems.  

Position Requirements  

  • High School Diploma or state issued equivalency certificate is required 
  • One (1) year manufacturing experience and with a proven record that displays the ability to lead and supervise preferably in the food industry is required
  • Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written communication and direction. 
  • Must possess basic reading, writing and mathematical skills. 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Ability to work well with others is required
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, with appropriate certifications if required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.   
  • This role is performed on site at a facility that regularly processes tree nuts. Employees in this position will routinely work in areas where tree nuts and related allergens are present and may be exposed by contact or in the air.
