JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and supporting the warehouse team to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards. This role acts as a point of contact between warehouse associates and management, providing guidance, training, and coordination of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership

    • Lead, motivate, and support warehouse associates during shift operations
    • Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to ensure productivity targets are met
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members
    • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and issues
  • Operations Management

    • Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping activities
    • Ensure accuracy of inventory transactions and order fulfillment
    • Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance as needed
    • Assist in implementing process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Inventory Control

    • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and audits
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records
    • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials
  • Safety & Compliance

    • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
    • Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
    • Ensure team members follow proper procedures and use equipment safely
  • Reporting & Communication

    • Communicate daily performance metrics to supervisors
    • Document issues, delays, and operational challenges
    • Collaborate with other departments (shipping, receiving, transportation, etc.)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of warehouse experience
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar systems)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.)

Work Schedule

  • Full-time; may include evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed

PAY RANGE:

$19.90 - $28.80

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
