    Join Our Team as a Warehouse Lead!

    Slifco Electric is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors. We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations.

    Slifco Electric is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Lead to oversee the daily operations of our electrical warehouse and lead ourWarehouse Associates. This position is responsible for ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are accurately received, organized, labeled, tracked, and staged for projects. The Warehouse Lead will maintain an efficient warehouse environment while ensuring deliveries are accurate, trucks are loaded properly, and inventory is readily available to support field operations.

    The ideal candidate is a strong leader with warehouse experience, attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to maintain high standards for organization, safety, and accountability.

    What You'll Be Doing:


    • Lead, train, coach, and supervise theWarehouse Associates. 
    • Assign daily work priorities and ensure warehouse tasks are completed safely and efficiently. 
    • Maintain an organized, clean, and professional warehouse environment. 
    • Ensure all electrical materials, tools, and equipment are properly labeled and stored in designated locations. 
    • Verify materials received against purchase orders and packing slips for quantity and accuracy. 
    • Process and maintain receiving documentation and other warehouse paperwork. 
    • Coordinate and manage tool tracking, check-in/check-out procedures, and inventory accountability. 
    • Ensure project materials are accurately staged and organized for upcoming jobs. 
    • Verify pallets are assembled, labeled, wrapped, and organized correctly before shipment. 
    • Inspect outbound deliveries to ensure trucks are loaded accurately, safely, and in the proper sequence for field installation. 
    • Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect materials and coordinate resolutions. 
    • Enforce warehouse safety standards and company policies. 

    What We're Looking For:


    • 5+ years of warehouse experience in electrical construction, or manufacturing.
    • Previous experience leading or supervising warehouse personnel.
    • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). 
    • Experience with inventory management, tool tracking systems, and warehouse documentation. 
    • Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, shipping documents, and material lists. 
    • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 
    • Forklift certification or ability to become certified preferred. 
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
