Position Purpose
The Warehouse Leader is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations while supporting process improvements, inventory accuracy, and system implementation initiatives. This role requires a hands-on leader who understands warehouse workflows and can help drive efficiency, organization, and continuous improvement—particularly with inventory system upgrades and Cardex implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead and support daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to warehouse team members
- Assist with implementation and rollout of Cardex system and inventory management upgrades
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels and records
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth material flow
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation activities
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide solutions in real-time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Prior leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Experience with inventory systems; Cardex or similar system experience preferred
- Technically savvy with the ability to support system implementations and upgrades
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
