We’re hiring a Warehouse Lending Payoff Specialist I & II to support our Mortgage Purchase Program (MPP) operations through payoff processing, wire reconciliation, investor reporting, and operational support activities.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented mortgage or operations professional who enjoys working with financial transactions, investor documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support daily wire transfer activity by receiving incoming wires and purchase advices
  • Reconcile payoff entries for combined wires and process daily payoff transactions
  • Record accounting entries and complete daily account reconciliations
  • Partner with Accounting to research and resolve discrepancies
  • Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding purchase advice requests, deposits, and operational inquiries
  • Provide backup support to the MPP Collateral Specialist as needed
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Conventional, FHA, Rural Development, and VA loan programs and documentation
  • Maintain compliance with internal procedures, operational controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Support operational efficiency while maintaining confidentiality and high customer service standards

What You Bring:

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of mortgage experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
  • 2–3 years of experience in similar position being sought
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workflows with frequent interruptions
  • Effective organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
