Warehouse - Lift Truck Operator

Position Summary:

Nesco Resource is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Lift Truck Operator for a textile manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for safely transporting raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the warehouse and production areas. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse and production facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while verifying quantities and product condition.
• Transport raw materials to production lines and remove finished goods to designated storage areas.
• Stage materials for production and customer shipments according to schedules.
• Scan, label, and document inventory movements using warehouse or inventory management systems.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues to supervision.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Work closely with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and production teams to ensure efficient material flow.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift or lift truck operating experience required (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck experience preferred).
• Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience, preferably in a textile environment.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Basic computer and inventory scanning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and dust.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment for extended periods.

Payrate:

$15.88/hr

Work Schedule:

6am - 4pm 
Monday - Thursday
