Warehouse Logistics Associate

Location: Statesville, NC
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (OT is Mandatory at the moment. You will work sometimes later, or come in on a Saturday)

Pay: $16.00/hour (Once hired on, you will be bumped to $17/hr)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support our Engine Program. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and staging engine components throughout the warehouse while supporting Shipping & Receiving operations at the Engine Dock. Candidates will also receive cross-training in the Kitting department to provide backup support when production demands require.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of forklift operation, warehouse responsibilities, and material handling in a manufacturing logistics environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts to transport engines, components, and materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while following safety and quality procedures.
• Receive, inspect, and stage incoming materials for production and inventory.
• Supply production areas with materials as needed to maintain workflow.
• Verify shipments against packing slips and work orders.
• Assist with shipping documentation and help maintain inventory accuracy.
• Cross-train in the Kitting department to assemble and prepare material kits for production.
• Pull and stage parts according to work orders and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Work closely with warehouse, shipping, and production teams to meet customer deadlines.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to read work orders, shipping paperwork, and labels.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to cross-train and assist in multiple departments as needed.
