Job Overview & Locations

Primary Warehouse Hub: E-Logic Facility - Alexandria, VA (901 S. Pickett Street).

Project Scope: Field operations, site visits, and moving/logistical projects are distributed all across Washington, D.C. (including frequent on-site coordination at various District of Columbia Public Schools/DCPS locations).

Travel: Regular transit between the Virginia warehouse and active project sites across the DC metro area is required.

Internal Facility & Asset Management

Operations & Inventory: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and efficient storage of materials and equipment. Manage inventory, including tracking, labeling, and preparing materials required for moving and logistics projects.

Fleet Operations: Supervise and maintain company vehicles (trucks and vans), including monitoring usage, fuel levels, registration status, and overall condition.

Driving & Fleet Maintenance: Serve as an active driver for company trucks and vans for operational needs, including transporting vehicles for scheduled maintenance, safety inspections, or repairs. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required but is considered a strong plus.

Emergency Response: Ensure all vehicles are in safe, compliant, and operational condition through regular inspections. Respond to vehicle-related emergencies and coordinate timely repairs or replacements as needed.

Mail & Shipments: Pick up and distribute correspondence/mail between multiple office locations. Handle outgoing shipments, including preparing and processing deliveries through carriers such as FedEx.

Field Operations & Project Execution

Project Support: Coordinate and execute the pickup and delivery of materials for ongoing projects. Support and lead on-site logistics teams during moving projects, ensuring smooth execution of operations.

Site Visits & Requirement Gathering: Conduct regular site visits (e.g., projects with DCPS) to oversee team performance, provide guidance, and ensure service quality. Actively assess on-site conditions during walkthroughs to map out project

requirements, labor needs, and equipment logistics for the pricing and management teams.

Surge & Labor Management: Maintain a reliable network or the capability to quickly scale up and call in additional backup laborers/surge support when large-scale project demands or unexpected timelines arise.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures across warehouse, transportation, and on-site activities.

Communication: Maintain clear communication with team members, management, and clients to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred/required) to effectively communicate with diverse field crews, laborers, and site personnel.

Flexibility: Ability to seamlessly balance warehouse management duties in Virginia with hands-on field coordination and site assessment tasks across Washington, D.C.
