Position SummaryResponsibilities- Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.

  • Verify packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Prepare, package, and ship customer orders according to specifications.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system.
  • Print shipping labels and prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping documents.
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and LTL freight companies.
  • Stage materials for production and finished goods for shipment.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications- 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with shipping software and freight documentation.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and email).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications- Manufacturing or automotive industry experience.

  • Experience with barcode scanners and inventory systems.
  • Knowledge of FIFO inventory practices.
  • Experience scheduling LTL and truckload shipments.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing or 5S principles.

Physical Requirements- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse and manufacturing conditions.
