Warehouse Logistics Manager
Location: Lake Orion, Michigan (In-Person)
Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually
Position Overview
The Warehouse Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storage, fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, safety, and organization within the warehouse while leading staff and maintaining operational standards.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in Lake Orion, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
- Design warehouse layout, workflows, and storage strategy
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and inventory controls
- Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and company policies
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency
- Coordinate with operations, purchasing, and logistics teams
- Monitor shipping and receiving timelines to meet customer and business requirements
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation
- Manage equipment, tools, and supplies
Qualifications
- Warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
- Prior supervisory or management experience required
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse best practices
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
