Join a dynamic team serving a local distribution center where you'll be responsible for unloading trucks, stacking products, and assisting with order picking. This role involves manual labor in temperatures ranging from refrigerated (34°F) to freezer (-10°F), and requires physical stamina and safety awareness. Monday-Friday, 06:00:01 AM - 02:30:01 PM
Pay
$14.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Develop a good understanding of warehouse layout and inventory locations
- Operate pallet jacks and stand-up tow motors safely throughout the facility
- Unload pallets from inbound trucks efficiently
- Hand stack items at varying heights and weights, ensuring proper placement in different temperature zones
- Pick customer orders and load items into vehicles
- Move physically throughout the shift, lifting weights from 1 to 75 lbs., occasionally up to 90 lbs.
Minimum Requirements- Must be 18+ years old
- Physically fit with ability to walk most of the shift and lift frequently
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively for safety and work purposes
- Basic math skills necessary for the role
- Comfortable working in refrigerated environments for 8 hours or more
- Certification to operate a pallet jack preferred (training available)
Nice to Have Skills- Experience with warehouse industrial equipment
- Prior manual labor experience
Preferred Education and Experience- High school diploma or equivalent (not required but preferred)
Other Requirements- Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 90 lbs.
