    Summary:  This role is critical in the management of the movement of data related to warehousing and logistics into and out of SAP EWM and ERP.  This role will work closely with logistics management, inventory management, as well as SAP Analysts

    Time Utilization:  Normal business hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday thru Friday. During peak seasons overtime or Saturday work may be required. Schedule needs to be flexible to accommodate our internal and external customer needs. This position will require no travel.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned:

    1.    Monitor SAP EWM "Interim locations" for process errors and work with inventory coordinator and shipping supervisor to research any product orphaned in those locations

    2.    Research and react to open inbound and outbound deliveries that are aged and take the necessary steps to insure they ship to the customer

    3.    Maintain SAP ERP and EWM Material Master Data such as pick notes, putaway indicators, replenishment minimums and maximums 

    4.    Monitor Autostore HMI and react to items as needed

    5.    Correct ERP/EWM interface errors together with the SAP Analyst

    6.    Monitor consolidation zone and conveyor divert to be sure orders are not hung up and are shipping timely

    7.    React to MM inventory pulls and work with the Parts Room Supervisor to have a resource pull them 

    8.    Creation of all internal and intercompany EWM movements

    9.    Convert non-SAP shipping requests into Miscellaneous Deliveries

    10.    Support Parts Room staff 

    11.    Field Parts Room phone calls and coordinate with the Parts Supervisor and other departments  to respond to requests

    12.    Backup to Parts Room Supervisor for room organization in their absence

    Education/Experience:
    High School Diploma or GED, and two years warehouse/material related experience.  Associate’s degree in logistics or related field preferred. Must have the ability to technically troubleshoot EWM and ERP related issues and properly prioritize and execute against issues as they arise.   Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.

    Computer Skills:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; inventory and manufacturing software; and order processing systems.  Prior experience in SAP ERP and EWM/WM preferred.

    Certificates and Licenses:
    Current valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel as required by position. Must be forklift certification eligible

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    Past leadership experience preferred.

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

     

    The position requires agility in frequent moves on and off the fork lift. It requires agility in moving in between shelves and storage boxes. It requires agility in moving frequently from the upright to prone position during the crating and rigging processes.

     

    The associate must regularly lift and /or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate is occasionally required to climb or balance. The associate is occasionally required to sit.
