Our integrated team manages everything in-house from design and procurement to labor and warehousing delivering modern, functional, and durable spaces that add lasting value. As the company continues to grow and take on new projects, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to keep operations running efficiently behind the scenes.

The Warehouse Manager Position:

The Warehouse Manager oversees day-to-day warehouse and purchasing operations to ensure the accurate receipt, storage, control, and timely distribution of materials, tools, and equipment in support of project and internal customer needs. This role leads warehouse staff; manages inventory accuracy, space utilization, and workflow; coordinates deliveries and scheduling; and oversees fleet/equipment utilization and rental tracking. The Warehouse Manager supports purchasing activities including sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing, placing and tracking orders, and resolving discrepancies, while ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Audit and report inventory; recommend items to order/restock; ensure accurate stock levels and proper material control.
  • Receiving, Storage & Distribution: Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and dispatch of materials/tools/equipment to support projects and internal customers.
  • Purchasing & Supplier Management: Support purchasing activities including sourcing suppliers, negotiating pricing, placing orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving order discrepancies.
  • Staff Management: Manage warehouse associates; assign work; train team members; and ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment.
  • Operational Efficiency: Establish warehouse practices and protocols to improve productivity, space utilization, and workflow.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal/state safety regulations and company procedures for the warehouse, fleet, team members, and equipment.
  • Coordination: Communicate with other managers and project teams to ensure materials and products are delivered/shipped in a timely manner.
  • Vehicle & Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and utilization of company vehicles and equipment to meet operational needs.
  • Rental/Shared Equipment Control: Maintain inventory logs; track rental equipment; and communicate location/availability to project teams to ensure optimal utilization.

Qualifications & Abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a manager in warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and other relevant tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective problem solving and time management abilities.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Works in field and office setting on a regular basis.
  • Travel to projects in multi states as necessary
  • Lift to 40 pounds
  • Requires the ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time.
  • Field work may include adverse weather, loud working conditions, and high levels of activity.
