Warehouse Manager - Carey, OH

General Purpose of Position:

The Warehouse Manager oversees warehouse employees' production task ensuring efficiencies and development of competent team of workers through coaching and counseling, performance management and effective communications.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Duties/Responsibilities:

Follow all SOPs, COPs and cGMPs as directed

Oversees all nightly Inventory Functions, including organization of product.

Oversees all outbound freight

4

Use computer, handheld electronic units, voice commend headsets

5

Use hand carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and run shrink wrap machinery

Approves and maintains all shift timesheets, and any time off scheduling

7

Advises employees on care and preservation of items picked/packed/shipped

8

Input, update and retrieve information using the JD Edwards and shipping systems.

Fill orders with high accuracy (at least 99% accuracy)

Follow all safety and security policies and procedures

Assist in loading and unloading trucks

Operate a sit-down and stand-up (reach truck) forklift and maintaining OSHA standards

Re-skid product if necessary

Deliver non-product receivables

Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse

Order and track supplies

Perform cycle counts

Effectively communicate issues to the appropriate department(s) when necessary

Leads others as necessary and conducts duties in a safe and compliant manner.

Manage storage product and communicate inventory levels to partners

Works directly with warehouse technicians, Operations Manager, and Director, Operations

Work Shift:

This position works days, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Onsite in Carey, OH

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Clear understanding and demonstration of Prasco core values
• JD Edwards proficiency preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong self-starter, ability to work with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of database software, internet software, inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
• Support and lead with organizational and time management skills
• Previous forklift experience a plus

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or 1-to-2-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Required to stand, sit, talk, see and hear. Required to walk, lift, and move up to 100 pounds. Must use hands and fingers to operate controls/equipment/computer.
• Must have the ability to adjust focus for unplanned activities and other duties as assigned. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
• The work environment is indoors. The noise level in the work environment ranges from moderately quiet to loud.
