Warehouse Lead Permanent Position
Our client located in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to take ownership of a fast-moving warehouse floor. This is a permanent opportunity for a hands-on leader who takes pride in keeping inventory accurate, shipments moving on time, and the warehouse team operating safely and efficiently.
In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the warehouse, helping drive the daily flow of receiving, storage, inventory control, and outbound shipping.
Responsibilities
As the Warehouse Lead, you will report to the Operations Manager and help oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including:
Leading the daily flow of shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory movement
Overseeing packing, bills of lading, commercial invoices, shipping labels, and inbound container receipts
Using scanning systems and shipping software to allocate materials, generate packing slips, and track shipments
Conducting regular cycle counts and maintaining accurate real-time inventory records
Coordinating with carriers, vendors, and internal team members to ensure timely shipments
Promoting a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Supporting OSHA compliance, housekeeping standards, and equipment maintenance schedules
Helping guide and motivate warehouse team members to maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of experience in a warehouse lead, supervisor, or similar leadership role
OSHA Forklift Operator Certification, or willingness to obtain certification
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with carriers, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs. and remain active throughout the shift
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay organized as priorities change
Strong attendance, reliability, and accountability
Comfort using computers, warehouse management systems, scanning systems, and shipping software
A high school diploma or equivalent
Compensation & Benefits
This is a permanent position paying $55,000 per year.
