Alpha Electric Supply started on Maui, Hawai'i in 1987. Alpha is the largest independently owned electrical supply distributor in the state of Hawai'i with branch locations on the islands of Maui, Kaua'i, Oahu, and the Big Island. The company sells and distributes electrical supplies used by contractors including, wire and conduit, lighting, apparatus, PC and rough-in materials. Alpha services commercial, residential, government, institutional, utility and industrial market segments.

We're seeking an organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations for an electrical building supply company. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, supervising staff, workplace safety, and ensuring timely delivery of electrical materials and supplies to customers.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and shipping.
  • Supervise warehouse staff.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of electrical products, tools, conduit, wire, lighting, panels, breakers, and other supplies.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries with vendors, contractors, and customers.
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
  • Operate and oversee warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and OSHA compliance standards.
  • Monitor warehouse cleanliness, organization and security.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Work closely with purchasing, sales, and customer service teams to fulfill customer needs.
  • Trains and evaluates warehouse employees on procedures, safety, and performance.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
  • Manage damaged, returned, or defective materials according to company procedures.
  • Track warehouse metrics and prepare operational reports.
  • Works closely with the General Manager to ensure a clean, operational, and organized warehouse.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse or distributional experience, preferable in electrical supply, construction materials, or industrial distribution.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or manager experience required.
  • Knowledge of electrical products and building materials preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse software.
  • Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in fast-paced warehouse environment.
